overnight oats - 3 ways

when life gets hectic i always find that overnight oats are a staple for me. the ultimate grab and go breaky. here are the 3 top ways i like to prep them.

heres the basic base:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • splash of vanilla extract

  • 1/2 - 1 tbsp maple syrup (depending on how sweet you like)

  • small pinch of salt

  • 2 tbsp greek yoghurt

  • 1/2 cup of almond milk or enough to cover oats

  1. place all ingredients in a jar and give it a good mix

  2. either leave as is, or choose one of the add on recipes below!

  3. pop in the fridge, leave overnight. the next day, add an extra splash of milk if needed, mix it up and then add your toppings.

peanut butter choc goodness

(aka my all-time fav)

  • add in: 1 tbsp peanut butter & 2 tbsp cacao powder

  • toppings: raspberries and extra pb

mango and cinnamon

  • add in: 1 tsp cinnamon to mix in

  • toppings: diced mango, coconut flakes and extra cinnamon

plain jane, blueberry and banana

  • add in 1/2 mashed banana and 1/4 cup frozen blueberries

  • optional: swap out almond milk for coconut milk for extra flavour

  • toppings: extra fruit, honey and coconut flakes
